 After meeting MENA countries and the global summit on global warming, the countries agreed on lowering the consumption of non-green energy and depending more on green energy. And in this scenario, the UAE is again emerging as the leader, committed towards the cause more than any other Middle East country.

According to the data, the UAE has contributed 70% to its economic growth without the oil business. 

 According to Sheikh UmarFarooq Zahoor, an UAE-Norwegian entrepreneur and philanthropist, green energy is sustainable and no other country has contributed more than Dubai. If the other business starts to invest in the field, Dubai has the best potential to make other countries depend on it just like they did with oil supplies. Also, because of the stability and the never-ending resources of green energy, the possibilities, and the financial returns are endless. According to him, if anyone wants to invest in this billion-dollar business, this is undoubtedly the best time. 

 The profit chances for transportation companies are higher as they can construct green energy plants on their site. The best example of this can be seen at Dubai International Airport. All the companies investing in green energy have seen the 10% rise in their company’s share in the last 2-3 years. 

 At this time, the public and private sector companies have more chances of investing in electricity interconnectivity as another green energy business between different countries. Dubai can either become a dependable source of green energy or depend on other countries for the same, but it has never decided to depend on any. Like it expanded the oil business and became the top MENA country, Dubai will make sure to emerge as the world leader in the field of green energy.

An initiative like the Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park has already given the world a whiff about how Dubai is growing with its business moguls and government. In the upcoming future, various schemes have been launched to divert the country’s economic growth towards the green energy so it can contribute for the better future for upcoming generations.
