Pakistani- Norwegian businessman in Dubai, Umar Farooq Zahoor who is an entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist is doing a lot of social work in Dubai, especially in current, tough times of pandemic when there is a lot of need for it.
Umar Farooq Zahoor is giving back to his country and community, by launching various packages system to meet the livelihood.

Philanthropy is another hallmark of Umar Farooq Zahoor, putting his belief of ‘Education provides opportunity’ to work.

Umar Farooq Zahoor has also pledged to commit a considerable portion of his wealth to charitable causes. Taking inspiration from‘Giving Pledge’ a philanthropic initiative created by Bill Gates, Melinda Gates and Warren Buffet, he believes that the privileged people of the community must contribute to the society constantly and help the people through various ways of social work.




His philanthropic work is aptly summarized in his words, 

"My purpose in life is to serve the society through professional efforts and personal endeavors."

This act of kindness by Umar Farooq Zahoor is not by him the first. He has done a lot of philanthropic work and donated as much to charities and organizations as possible to help the society.

The new beginning of Hajj 2020 amidst social distancing

After the outbreak of Novel Corona Virus, the countries were shut down, and people were asked to stay quarantined. The malls were closed, schools, movie theatres and the pilgrims and shrines. People were asked to maintain social distancing and to avoid travelling or going out to even office. Millions of tickets were cancelled because of the pandemic. And one amongst any was Hajj 2020 . Hajj is a holy pilgrimage of the Muslim community . People go there to offer their prayers.
