Cases against Umar Farooq Zahoor proven False!
Umar Farooq
Zahoor, a Pakistani businessman, born in Norway and currently
living in the United Arab Emirates ( UAE), is seeking lawyers to take legal
action against a Turkish businessman, Erhan Kanioglulari, who threatened him
with usurping his money and filed a fake complaint against him at the Maidan
Artillery Police Station in Karachi.
According to UmarFarooq Zahoor, the Turkish man had forced the public servants to use their
lawful powers to the applicant's enquiry by lodging a false complaint against
him. He alleged that the crime of giving false information to the police was
punishable under Section 182 PPC and that the accused had committed a convicted
felony punishable under section-389 PPC.
The Turkish national had also moved Umar Farooq Zahoor against the
National Accountability Bureau (NAB)
was also moved against Umar Farooq Zahoor by the Turkish International. The
office launched an investigation into the case, and later a NAB court
exonerated the Pakistani businessman of all offences, and the court cleared him
once again, and all accusations against him were found false!
And this comes as no surprise because as an activist, trader
and philanthropist, Umar Farooq Zahoor,
has done a lot of philanthropic and charitable work. He recently assisted
health staff and other frontline employees around the world during the current
Covid-19 health crisis.
Umar FarooqZahoor’s this act of kindness isn’t the first by him. He has done a
lot of philanthropic work and has donated to charities and organizations to
help the society whenever possible. Such a success story it has been that along
with his supporters, even his competitors are in awe of him
But it wasn't shocking that, like before, when the session
court in Karachi also acquitted Umar Farooq on 31 March 2008 after hearing the
complaint filed by the Artillery Maidan Police Station under section 506 PPC as
per FIR No. 97 of 2004 and then under Section 265 K CRPC in Sessions Case
Number 546 of 2004, the agency this time launched an investigation into the
case, and a NAB court later
exonerated the Pakistani businessman of all offences this time too. The court
cleared him once again, and all allegations against him were found baseless.
Umar Farooq Zahoor further informed his lawyer that the immoral
image generated in the public domain should be deleted with immediate effect in
order to hold the record straight and wash away his name whenever it appears in
a negative statement related to the case on websites and or in any other media
platforms.
