The ever growing market of green energy in Dubai

Previously UAE was one of the biggest producers of carbon in the world. The oil sector has a big part in the world’s increasing the Earth’s temperature and hindering with the non-renewable or say non-green energy source of the planet. With the various seminars and conferences, the countries decided to work on the growth of green energy to become more eco-friendly and save the world for the upcoming generations.

Dubai’s ultimate goal is to achieve its target for maximum stability and no to depend on other countries for any of the sources. So far, Dubai has reduced its carbon footprint by a huge goal and has found a maximum alternative for its non-green business which includes the trade of crude oil. The purpose of MENA country is to increase the use of green energy in the country by 50% to put a stop on non-sustainable point soon enough and become a global force to outsource the green energy too that other countries can depend upon.

These green energies are not harmful to the planet, and the ultimate source of it is never-ending, now consider the possibilities! Different projects are going on in Dubai, such as Shams 1 by Masdar City, Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, and the Wind Power Generation. Currently, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park is the single largest solar energy plant in the world, and by the year 2030, it is expected that up to 5,000 MW of electricity will be generated.

UAE has the Energy Strategy 2050 targeting on creating enough energy to meet the fundamental requirement of Emirates, whether it is environmental or economical. And with this, it will save more than a billion dollars in the upcoming years.

According to Sheikh Umar Farooq Zahoor, sustainability and green energy is the primary need of the hour. With the ever-increasing pandemic in terms of nature, it is vital to find sources for green energy and invest in it for the betterment of the region. Soon the energy industry will attract business people from around the world, and this will create enormous possibilities for the economic growth and job sector as huge human resources will be required.

Dubai has always been a global power, no matter what business is invested in. The same vision in the field of green and sustainable energy will make sure that Dubai emerges as a global leader as this will create thousands of job for youth and will become an attraction for other companies wanting to invest in the energy sector for huge returns.

The project will help in reducing the use of non-green elements already depleting from the source and by no means can be generated manually. It’s about time countries start working on n alternative or the else are ready to face failure and to deprive the future generations of enjoying the sources we have today, and the scenario will be worse. Dubai has already understood the concept and is more than ready to take over once again.
